How I Lost 45 Pounds In Three Months

Well now that you know what didn’t work, I wanted to share with you how I was able to lose 45 pounds in 3 months. I have boiled it down to three core areas. Cut Out the Bad Foods, Start Exercising At Home Slowly, Eat Healthy Foods. It really is this easy. You don’t need a magic shake. You don’t need a $2,000 Bowflex. You don’t need a personal trainer, and you definitely don’t even need a gym membership.

Cut Out the Bad Foods

Basically what you need to do is cut out any foods you consume that add no nutritional value to your body. When I looked at what I was eating, I was drinking a lot of coffee and a fair amount of beer. What this meant was I was consuming an extra 500 to 1,000 calories a day in liquid garbage. While there are studies that say that one cup of coffee isn’t that bad, and may be good for you, or that drinking a beer is pretty good for you, the reality is this: Coffee dehydrates your body and strips nutrients out of anything your body may be eating. Beer is basically liquid yeast, liquid acid and fungus. Both of these things create yeast and acid in your body which causes all sorts of horrible things in your body.

By cutting out the liquid garbage alone, I brought down my calorie intake by anywhere from 500 to 1,000 calories. If you are overweight right now, I can pretty much guarantee that you are consuming an extra 500 to 1,000 calories of junk a day that has no nutritional value whatsoever. Maybe it’s beer, maybe it’s coffee, maybe it’s sweets. Get rid of it.

Start Exercising Slowly

Slowly is the SECRET AND KEY! Cutting out the bad food is one thing. That will definitely help you from gaining weight. But ultimately if you want to burn fat, you need to get your body into a state where the metabolism that has been sleeping for the last year, years, or even ten years. My biggest tip I can give to you if you are fairly overweight is start working out at home, and start with 15 to 20 minutes a day for the first week. Once you get that down, you can move on to 25 minutes a day. By doing this, you can avoid most injuries, and do what you need to do which is raise your heart rate to a safe level where you will tell your metabolism to wake up and start burning fat.

Beachbody just released an amazing new workout program, Focus T25 that gives you 25 minute workouts, 5 times a week. It’s super easy to follow, and made by master fitness expert, Shaun T. What to Do For Exercise?

I’ve tried all the programs, but what I will say is the key is to find a program that you enjoy to do. For me, that was something that was motivational, had great music, and was fast paced. TurboFire was my main weapon that got me down from 230 pounds, to 175 pounds. The reason it worked so well was because Chalene Johnson is an incredible motivator, uses really fast paced music, and really makes you feel like you are working out with a bunch of friends. Some of my favorite workouts in her set are the HITT workouts which cause you to burn 9x more calories than a traditional cardio workout. You will literally burn calories all day long after the workout for 48 hours.

If that isn’t for you, P90X is incredibly popular, but I warn you it is for advanced people only. I actually had ordered P90X for me, and I found it wasn’t for me because it was a slower workout focused more on muscle, and really not enough music to keep me pumped and motivated. That said, P90X is awesome if you want to have a great “manly” workout. If you can handle P90X, you will see incredible results very fast because of the way Tony Horton uses Muscle Confusion to keep you muscles guessing the entire time you are working out. This causes you to gain muscle quickly, while burning fat like mad!

So there you have it, three programs you can do from home. No excuses. I’ve done all three and recommend all three. If you are short on time and not that coordinated, do Focus T25. If you like music, motivation, and a little dancing, TurboFire! If you like longer muscle building workouts, P90X BRING IT BABY!

Eat Healthier

Would you put syrup in your car for gas? Of course not! Many of you even put the premium gasoline in your car once a week paying an incredible premium to keep your car running in tip top shape. So why on earth do we insist on putting junk into our bodies? If you have cut out the junk food, and doing the 15 to 20 minute exercises 5 times a week, you going to be losing weight. However if you don’t watch your diet, you are going to be exhausted and tired every day because of the intense level of exercise you are doing. You need to follow a proper nutritional plan. I know this sounds scary, but it is actually really easy if you follow a plan that is provided from TurboFire, P90X, or any of the Beachbody workout programs.

Closing Thoughts

If I can do this you can do this. You can do this on your own by cutting out the junk food, eating better, and exercising 20 minutes a day. However most of us need help, which is why I recommend you start with Focus T25. It is EASY to start with, only requires 25 minutes a day, and will get your body in the best shape of its life in 60 days. No excuses.
