I want to get to the meat and potatoes here and tell you why certain Beachbody Coaches make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, and certain coaches make next to nothing as a Beachbody Coach. I want to share with you my strategy I have been using since day one, to grow my Beachbody business in record time.
Plan Your Day
One of the most important things you could do is plan your day. I always break my day down into three categories. I do this because three is an easy number. To start, look at your biggest goal you are shooting for in the next 30 days, and reminder yourself of why you are shooting for this goal. Pick the things you are going to do today to move that goal forward. Next, prioritize the things you need to do today that are non-negotiable. These are things like take the kids to the Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, watch your kid’s soccer practice, exercise, or pay your bills. And lastly, I plan for things would be “nice to do.”
Pump Yourself Up
I'm a huge fan of Tony Robbins. Ever since I was 12 years I have been doing my “Hour of Power” or “15 minutes of fulfillment”. What is that anyway? Well basically what I do is think about how my day is going to go, paint a picture for the day. In that time, I thank the universe for all the amazing gifts I have been given, like my health, my beautiful family, and the amazing financial opportunities Beachbody has presented me with. My trick to make this happen every single day is I start the process in the morning with a great workout, and then it continues into the shower, and ends with breakfast, which is typically Shakeology. I know this sounds cheesy, but trust me. If you want to be in peak performance state, this is an incredibly powerful way to get moving!
Are You Doing What You Want to Do?
You really need to take a step back sometimes and just make sure that you are doing what you should be doing in life. I'll be the first to tell you that if you are doing what you don't want to be doing, then you are going to struggle. Find what you love to do, and give it your all. And even if you are doing what you love, like being a Beachbody Coach, then you need to make sure you are working the business in a way that you are going to excel at. Not everyone is a social media rock star, not everyone can run Fit Clubs. Do what you want to do!
Email Does not Equal Working
So many people think the first thing they need to do in the morning is check their email. This is actually the worst possible thing you could do to yourself. Why? If you are truly trying to plan and shape your future, you already know what you have to do to achieve your goals. The second you open your email you are going to be sucked into a world of doing work for other people. While it's important to follow up and respond to customers, don't do it in the first hour. Wait till the second hour. And schedule it! Give yourself an hour for email, then shut it down and get to work! Real work!
Facebook Does Not Equal Working
Depending on how you spend your time on Facebook, you may be working. However as I have had the chance to observe hundreds of people on Facebook, I've noticed a pattern. Most people get onto Facebook to chat with their friends, post pictures of their cats, and spend hours catching up with their friend’s walls and seeing what they did over the weekend. This is not working folks. If you want to spend some time on Facebook, then spend it wisely. I always get on Facebook in the second hour of my day, not my first hour. Even then, I am working. What do I do? I update my challenge group walls, I respond to Beachbody Challengers questions, I update my team pages, and publish any big announcements like rank advancements to my wall.
Check the Beachbody Coach Online Office
This should take you 10 minutes tops, but you should make sure you check it as it is the lifeblood of your business. While I can't explain everything about the Coach Online Office in a paragraph, I will tell you that you need to at a minimum check: Any new emails, New leads, Rank Changes, New PS coaches, New coaches in your organization, Success Club Points and Qualifications, and Lead Wheel Program Qualifications.
Final Thoughts on Being a Successful Beachbody Coach
The secret to being successful as a Beachbody Coach is to focus on your end goal, and not getting distracted. For some many people, they focus on responding to emails, messaging friends on Facebook, and they don't spend enough time being productive and doing the things that will change their business and help them stand out!
